As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. You will conduct routine rounds, report unusual activity, and respond to situations with professionalism and integrity. This is an armed post requiring an Armed Guard Card or license. Requirements

  • An armed guard card and/or license is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid firearms permit is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Perform armed patrol duties, maintaining assigned firearm and related equipment per policy and completing required post checks and documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site management and public emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Control access through designated entry points by verifying identification, monitoring authorized access lists, and documenting arrivals, departures, and unusual activity per site procedures.
