You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, support access points, and communicate clearly with employees, drivers, and visitors. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have 4 or more years of military and/or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a food and beverage production and/or distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including production-adjacent spaces, docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access by monitoring gates and/or entrances, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, and directing employees, contractors, and delivery drivers to appropriate check-in locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events, notifying site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision, and assisting with scene control as directed.
• Complete required reports and logs, communicate relevant observations during shift transitions, and report maintenance concerns such as lighting outages, damaged fencing, and/or unsecured doors.
