As an Access Control Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. As this is an armed post, you will use your training and judgment to respond to incidents as needed, while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying the identification and authorization of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Assist in responding to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policies.
Collaborate with client staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment within a financial institution setting.
