As an Allied Universal team member assigned to an access control post in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Perform identification and verification checks for individuals entering or exiting the location, maintaining accurate access records.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, contractors, and/or staff with access-related inquiries and directions as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and report any observed irregularities.
Communicate clearly and professionally with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and emergency responders as required.
Document all activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences in detailed reports according to site guidelines.
Support emergency response activities, including following evacuation and lockdown procedures when appropriate.
