As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will perform routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with calm professionalism. This is an armed post requiring an Armed Guard Card or License. You will deliver outstanding customer service, clear communication, and detailed reporting while living Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
  • Possess a Corrections Officer License.
  • Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Carry authorized firearms and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, post orders, and applicable laws and/or licensing requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with management and/or law enforcement as needed.
  • Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol observations, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
