In this armed and driving role, you will help to deter security-related incidents, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

A minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas within the food and beverage location to help maintain a secure environment.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or law enforcement as needed.
Document observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Remain alert and attentive during patrols and while on post, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location.
