About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Entry Control in Boca Raton, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Security Officer specializing in access control, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a prestigious country club location. You will help to deter security-related incidents, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.
