As a Security Officer Armed Perimeter Driver Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. This is a Part-Time position where you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using the Claim a Shift platform. You will join Allied Universal as a driving and armed officer at a dynamic location, conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting daily operations through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working as part of a team and acting with integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, unusual conditions, and/or maintenance concerns to site leadership.
• Support access control activities and follow post orders and reporting procedures for daily operations.
