Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this driving post, you will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, work as part of a team, and act with integrity while supporting daily operations.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations prior to employment.
Nice To Haves
- An armed guard card/license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry, prohibited items, and/or suspicious behavior in accordance with post orders.
- Support order at the location by following use of force guidelines, maintaining a visible presence, and coordinating with site leadership and/or public sector personnel during routine operations and emergency situations.
