As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support daily operations. This armed and driving post requires you to remain highly visible, respond promptly to situations, and deliver exceptional customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

  • Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license as required by law.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Handcuffing certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed within the location.
  • Coordinate responses to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document and report all incidents, activities, and irregularities according to site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries and access procedures.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
  • Support emergency response activities by facilitating communication between site personnel and first responders.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all dispatch activities and communications.
