Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Dispatch Center in Marietta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in an aero and defense environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and coordinating responses across the location. This armed and driving position involves maintaining clear communication, supporting team members, and providing excellent customer service. Requirements

  • Possess three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license as required.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as a central point of contact for communications, dispatching, and coordination of security-related activities within the location.
  • Monitor incoming calls, alarms, and electronic security systems, dispatching personnel as needed to respond to incidents and/or emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all communications, incidents, and dispatch activities.
  • Assist in coordinating the response to critical situations, providing support and guidance to on-site personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures while carrying out dispatch duties.
  • Provide customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal personnel.
  • Support regular and random patrols by communicating assignments and tracking patrol activities as required by the site.
  • Assist with access control and visitor management processes as needed, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
