You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while remaining highly visible. This is an armed and driving post, requiring both an armed guard license and a valid driver's license. Requirements

A minimum of three years combined law enforcement military or security experience or a college degree is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Handcuffing certification is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage access control points, including verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location.
Operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and/or coordinate response to incidents as needed.
Maintain detailed logs and documentation of all activities, incidents, and communications in accordance with site-specific policies.
Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by offering assistance and information as required.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding site activities and incidents as appropriate.
Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity by remaining alert and attentive to all security-related matters within the location.
