About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Day Dhift in Pennsburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic technology-focused location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess Act 235 qualification if applying in Pennsylvania.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Have access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate judgment and communication skills.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to control entry and maintain a secure environment at the location.
Communicate with site personnel and visitors in a professional manner, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
Prepare and submit detailed reports on patrol activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal protocols.
Follow all site-specific instructions and comply with applicable regulations relevant to a technology, media, and telecom environment.
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, especially in areas with sensitive information or equipment, and respond promptly to any unusual activity.
