About The Position

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond promptly to situations as they arise. Requirements

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual activity and report security-related concerns according to site protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors while enforcing site policies and procedures.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents and emergencies.
