Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or incidents, and deliver strong customer service and clear communication. Bring teamwork and integrity to an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first. Armed Guard Card or License required.

Requirements

  • Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience OR have a college degree.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services environment.
  • Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter checkpoints to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or irregular conditions.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and public responders as needed.
  • Control access at designated posts by verifying identification, managing visitor processing, and monitoring restricted areas per post orders.
  • Prepare clear written reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and unusual activity, and handle issued equipment and firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and all applicable regulations.
