As an Unarmed Patrol Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, respond to requests for assistance, and report concerns promptly. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
Be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Conduct routine access control, including monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or appointment information as required, and directing visitors to the proper area.
Perform regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor alarms, surveillance systems, and/or other security-related equipment, and report irregularities according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and coordinating with site contacts and public responders as directed.
Complete detailed written reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, and maintain accurate logs required by the site.
Provide a visible presence in customer-facing areas such as lobbies and ATM areas, assisting with de-escalation and directing individuals to appropriate resources when needed.
Support opening and closing procedures as assigned, including checking doors, gates, and controlled areas for signs of tampering and reporting concerns.
Assist with crowd and line management during peak customer traffic and special events, helping to maintain an orderly environment.
Communicate professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site management, following post orders and escalating concerns through the chain of command.
