As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to support a secure setting, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or potential threats.
Monitor and control access points to restricted or sensitive areas, particularly in an aerospace and defense environment.
Identify and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
Work closely with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of all activities and incidents encountered during patrols.
Participate in ongoing training and drills to stay current with security-related protocols and emergency response procedures specific to the location.
