As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, students, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the school campus and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment within the educational setting.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Work collaboratively with school administration and local law enforcement when necessary to address security-related concerns.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to potential threats or emergencies in a manner consistent with Allied Universal's policies and procedures.
