As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to alarms, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and communication skills.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entry and exit points, verifying identification as required and maintaining awareness of unusual activity.
Assist with access control and visitor management following site-specific procedures.
Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when appropriate during incidents or emergencies.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors at the location.
