Security Officer - Armed Bank Perimeter Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Armed Bank Perimeter Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols and visible presence, respond to incidents, and support access control and other security-related needs. You will deliver strong customer service and clear communication while documenting activity and coordinating with site leadership. Requirements
- Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement/military/security experience OR a college degree.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma/GED as required by the client.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Carry and maintain authorized firearm and required equipment in accordance with post orders, licensing requirements, and company guidelines; use sound judgment and report issues through the proper chain of command.
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with local law enforcement and/or onsite management as required.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter; monitor for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access.
- Complete required shift documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and access control records; communicate key updates to incoming personnel and site contacts.
