As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This role requires driving and carrying a firearm as part of your daily responsibilities. You will remain visible, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly, reflecting Allied Universal's commitment to teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

An armed guard card or license is preferred.
A valid firearms permit is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment.
Maintain detailed records of activities, observations, and incidents as required by site-specific protocols.
Work closely with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when circumstances require.
Remain alert to any unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established procedures.
Operate communication devices to stay connected with Allied Universal management and site personnel.
