You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence, conducting routine patrols, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
Follow all procedures related to access control, visitor management, and asset protection as required at the location.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on all incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
Adhere to all Allied Universal policies and procedures, including those specific to armed patrol operations at financial institution locations.
