As a Security Officer - Armed Bank Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure atmosphere for clients and staff. You will remain visible, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while upholding our values of reliability, innovation, and teamwork. Requirements

Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Provide proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activities within the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and any security-related observations as required by site protocols.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or law enforcement as needed while upholding Allied Universal standards.
Follow all client and Allied Universal protocols related to armed security-related duties, including the proper handling and storage of assigned equipment.
