As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent such as a GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate judgment and protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols, both inside the financial institution and around its perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and to observe any unusual behavior.
Maintain detailed logs and prepare incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or law enforcement personnel as required.
Carry and maintain proficiency with authorized firearms and adhere to all applicable regulations and Allied Universal policies regarding armed posts.
