Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the location, with attention to areas common to financial institutions.
Monitor for suspicious activity or unauthorized access, and report observations according to post orders and protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential incidents and promote a secure atmosphere for employees and visitors.
Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and vendors, providing assistance as needed while upholding security-related protocols.
Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as required by site-specific procedures.
Maintain proficiency in the use of assigned security equipment, including firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal policies and training.
