About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Asset Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer, where you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to promote peace of mind, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have a minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols, both armed and unarmed as required, throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location, reporting any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors and employees with access protocols and provide information or directions as needed.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary, following established protocols.
Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
