As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This position requires both an armed guard card/license and a valid driver's license. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.
Remain alert to any unusual activity or conditions within the location and take appropriate action as outlined in post orders.
