As a Security Officer - Armed Access Control Driver in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional in a government location, you will play a key role in access control, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post, where you will remain visible, interact with visitors and staff, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry only to authorized individuals.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors and employees with inquiries related to access control and security-related matters.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary, following established protocols.
