As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for residents and guests. This is an armed and driving position. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Armed Guard Card or License required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the residential location.
Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the property.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
Support emergency response activities as needed, communicating promptly with appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
Work collaboratively with residents and property management to address security-related concerns and provide information as needed.
