Job Description As a Airport Security Officer in Kahului, HI , you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and airport facilities. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the public, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM Wed 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM

Requirements

Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to questions and offering assistance as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access or behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter security-related incidents and report any suspicious activity.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
Assist with emergency response activities as required, including following evacuation procedures and supporting first responders.
Communicate professionally with team members, location staff, and the public to maintain a positive environment and uphold Allied Universal standards.
