Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Hospital vaccines are required.
  • Ability to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue is required.
  • Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required.
  • At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, screening activities, and/or emergency response actions at a healthcare location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, patients, and deliveries at designated entry points by verifying access authorization, following visitor protocols, and documenting required information.
  • Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around entrances, lobbies, waiting areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support a professional environment.
