Security Officer - Aerospace Patrol - Clearance
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Aerospace Patrol in Sierra Vista, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observing for any unusual conditions.
- Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to site procedures.
- Communicate with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and local authorities as needed to support security-related operations.
- Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and verify credentials as required by site policies.
- Remain alert and observant during patrols to help identify potential security-related risks or hazards specific to an aerospace and defense environment.
