As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas through routine patrols and access checks, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and professionalism. You will support personnel and visitors with customer service, document observations, and escalate concerns. Requirements

  • Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and reporting to site leadership as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, production and office spaces, and the perimeter, watching for unusual activity and conditions that may require attention.
  • Control access by verifying identification and/or credentials, directing visitors to the appropriate check-in process, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations and/or concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
