As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Help to deter unauthorized individuals from accessing restricted areas within the aerospace and defense location.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
Assist with access control duties and/or visitor management as directed by site procedures.
Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities and drills.
