As a Security Officer Access Screening in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, screening visitors, drivers, and/or vendors, and responding to security-related concerns in a professional manner.
  • Monitor entry and exit points at the location, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to loading, warehouse, and restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related activities and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, reporting maintenance and/or security-related issues, and following site policies for escalation when appropriate.
