About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Screening in Oak Creek, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic logistics and distribution location where you will help monitor entry points, manage badges and visitor access, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and/or credential checkpoints to help regulate site access for employees, visitors, drivers, and authorized vendors.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
  • Support daily operations by documenting visitor activity, verifying identification and/or delivery information, and reporting maintenance, lighting, or other site issues that could impact access control procedures.
