About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Screening in Oak Creek, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic logistics and distribution location where you will help monitor entry points, manage badges and visitor access, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and/or credential checkpoints to help regulate site access for employees, visitors, drivers, and authorized vendors.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
Support daily operations by documenting visitor activity, verifying identification and/or delivery information, and reporting maintenance, lighting, or other site issues that could impact access control procedures.
