Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific access procedures, credential verification steps, and security-related policies at the location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or delivery documentation, and help to control authorized access to buildings, yards, gates, and shipping and receiving areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and dock locations, with attention to access control issues, damaged barriers, and other unusual conditions.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, document daily activities and incident details, and communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and/or first responders.
