As a Security Officer Access Screening in Deerfield Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help manage visitor access with professionalism and care. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, permissions, and visitor information, and help to control authorized access for residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related activities according to site guidelines.
  • Communicate with residents, property staff, visitors, and/or emergency personnel regarding access requests, policy questions, and unusual activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property, common areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
