As a Security Officer - Access Gate Operations in HOPE, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a major food and beverage location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and use your communication skills to support a secure environment. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a food and beverage production environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit within the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
- Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to site protocols.
- Work collaboratively with site personnel and visitors, providing assistance and guidance as needed while upholding access control standards.
