As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and remaining visible to support a secure environment. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying identification and managing visitor entry in accordance with site-specific protocols.
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by addressing inquiries and offering guidance related to access procedures.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment within the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or emergencies according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.
Collaborate with on-site staff and emergency responders as needed to support access control and emergency response activities.
