Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures at the location, monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities as required by site procedures.
Collaborate with location staff and local authorities as needed to support security-related operations and emergency response.
