Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to support security-related procedures.
Assist with visitor and contractor management, maintaining logs and issuing access badges as required by site-specific policies.
Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited activities by maintaining a visible presence and adhering to established security-related protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and client site guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the business premises and perimeter to observe for any irregularities or unusual situations.
Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while following established protocols.
Document daily activities, incidents, and irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
