As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access to the chemical and petrochemical facility, verifying credentials of personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering or exiting the location.
  • Follow site-specific security-related procedures and policies to help maintain a secure environment.
  • Provide customer service to all individuals at the location by addressing inquiries and assisting with site navigation.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and activate emergency response protocols when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or policy violations according to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to uphold security-related standards and support operational needs.
