As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the chemical and petrochemical facility, verifying credentials of personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering or exiting the location.
Follow site-specific security-related procedures and policies to help maintain a secure environment.
Provide customer service to all individuals at the location by addressing inquiries and assisting with site navigation.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and activate emergency response protocols when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or policy violations according to established procedures.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to uphold security-related standards and support operational needs.
