As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will support access control by welcoming team members and visitors, checking credentials, issuing and tracking badges, and monitoring entry points. You will conduct routine patrols and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents while providing clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry points by checking identification, issuing and/or verifying badges, maintaining visitor and delivery logs, and helping to deter unauthorized entry to buildings, docks, and yard areas.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and communication channels; report irregular activity, access issues, and policy concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, documenting events, and coordinating with site leadership and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including loading docks, staging areas, parking lots, and perimeter lines; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
