Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to designated areas within the aerospace and defense location, verifying credentials and permissions for employees, visitors, and contractors.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals entering and exiting the premises, addressing inquiries, and supporting site-specific protocols.
Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site policies, including responding to alarms and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or breaches of policy to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and site representatives.
Assist with emergency response activities as required by site-specific procedures, maintaining communication with Allied Universal and location representatives.
Support the enforcement of site regulations related to access control, visitor management, and restricted areas.
