As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and controlling entry points at a busy logistics and distribution location. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points for authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining a visible presence at designated access points within the logistics and distribution environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and emergency response procedures.
Provide customer service to clients by communicating security-related procedures and addressing inquiries in a professional manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Collaborate with site staff and emergency responders as needed to support security-related operations at the location.
