Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Availability across various days and shifts

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying identification and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and/or vendors in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directing them to appropriate locations within the property.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific protocols to help maintain a secure environment within the commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities through daily reports and logs as required by site protocols.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal and client guidelines.
