Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying identification and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and/or vendors in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directing them to appropriate locations within the property.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific protocols to help maintain a secure environment within the commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Document observations, incidents, and activities through daily reports and logs as required by site protocols.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal and client guidelines.
