As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading Tech, Media, and Telecom location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting visitors, employees, and/or contractors as needed.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to observe for any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client guidelines.
Collaborate with team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment at the location.
