Requirements

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access points to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access procedures and security-related inquiries.
• Carry out site-specific security-related procedures and follow established policies to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining communication with Allied Universal and site management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
