As a Security Officer - Access Control Specialist in Lavonia, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with controlling access to the location by verifying credentials and/or authorization for entry.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting visitors at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Document and report all security-related incidents, issues, or concerns as outlined in site-specific protocols.
Support Allied Universal management and site leadership in carrying out emergency response activities as needed.
